| Biography | Laura teaches English as a second language in Shawinigan, Quebec. She speaks both languages and loves the diversity and richness of her home province. She grew up in Quebec's Eastern Townships and although she no longer resides in her home town of Sherbrooke, her heart still lies with those rolling hills. She attended Champlain College, Bishops University and holds a masters degree from Concordia University in sociology. She is a passionate defender of those groups who feel the burden of oppression in society. Writing is a compulsion that has been with her since she was a small child. She has lived with her long time partner and best friend, Donald McCulloch for twenty years.
Their two cats, Prosper and Oliver graciously allow them to share their living space.
