Bone Song

John Meaney sidesteps from his familiar Space Opear into something new. A blending of noir, mystery, thriller, science fiction and horror, Bone Song is more than the sum of its parts.

Context

Meaney’s novel is Hard SF/Space Opera. This branch of SF has been flourishing for a few years now, with writers like Alastair Reynolds, Peter F. Hamilton, and Ken MacLeod leading the charge.
