| Biography | | Kerry Orchard was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where she still live with her husband, two children, two cats and a dog. She had an interesting life growing up and working at the racetrack and love horses to this day. She has also done much volunteering for animal causes and in the school system over the years as well as worked at different part time jobs, giving her many ideas for her characters and worlds. She began writing to beat the isolation of staying home with children, and to cope with a chronic illness. Fantasy is her first love. Poetry affords her an opportunity to express herself.
