Shriek: An Afterword

Jeff VanderMeer's fantasy novel about siblings Duncan and Janice Shriek, inhabitants of Ambergris, the City of Saints and Madmen.

Veniss Underground

Veniss Underground is a novel that is not easy to describe, but in a very good way. Perhaps the only way I can rightly describe my experience with Veniss Underground is dreamlike, or at times, like a nightmare. This is a startlingly fantastic journey through not only a dark world, but a journey through odd people.

The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Disc

The Lambshead Pocket Guide is one of the most interesting and unique pieces of fantastic fiction I have ever come across. The book has an air of bona fide medical integrity, and each disease sounds like something ill-reported from the 19th Century.
