"Where'd you get this money? Last night y chance?"
"Uh-, well."
" You know what, I don't think that you earned this money."
"I didn't kill your friggin husband!" Kevin screamed as the elevator door
opened again and he ran out of the building and he ran out to his car opened
the car door and slammed it shut and he drove away. There was only one way he
could have known about James. He was involved. He killed him! She looked him up
in the phone book to see where he lives 112-cannonball crescent. She knew where
that was it was right behind the grocery store. She got one of her husband's
old hunting shotguns and she drove to Kevin's house, She picked up the shotgun
and knocked on the door. His wife Mable answered the door
"Uh hi?" she said nervously at the shotgun.
"Where's Kevin?"
"Uh he-he's not here." Kate pointed the gun at her.
"Where would he be?"
"Uh he probably went to the cottage." Kate lowered the gun.
"Where is that?" Mable gave Kate the directions. Kate went all the way up to
the cottage. She saw the wooden cottage and a lake and a whole forest
surrounding the cottage she saw someone "Kevin." She thought. She held up the
gun and pointed it at him. Kevin saw her and pointed his gun at her. "Why did
you kill my husband!" she screamed.
"You deserved it! It was to teach you a lesson!"
"What so you murder my husband? Murderer! You murderer!
"If you go on like this I'll have to commit another murder!"
"Are you threatening me?" Kevin smiled and nodded.
"Now's my chance." Kate thought. Then she pulled the trigger. Bang. She had
done it. Now she'd be put in prison or police would be after her. She looked up
into the sky. "I need you James!" Kate screamed. "I need to be with you!" Kate
thought for a moment. The only way that she would be able to be with James, get
away from the police and ease her pain was to use that shotgun one more time,
to commit another killing to...herself. She put the gun up to the side
of
her head. She pulled the trigger one-last-time. She fell to the ground. Her
soul was sucked out of her and her soul was floating up into the sky. There was
a blast of blinding light and she saw two shiny, golden gates. She floated
forward she saw the figure of a man near the gates. She squinted, trying to see
what this transparent figure was, James? When he said he would wait for her is
this what he meant? "James?"
"Kate! I've been waiting for you." Tears of happiness came to Kate's eyes as
she floated towards him and she hugged him tightly. A man in a white suit with
a golden lining came out with a scroll he looked down at it and announced
"Kate Mabelle, James Mabelle, you are both welcome to come through these
gates to heaven." Kate and James walked hand in hand through the gates to
heaven.
