- Understanding People

Understanding People
         by Edward Adventurous

Some people say a lot that they shouldn't,
Sometimes you've got to stick up for what other people wouldn't,
There are a lot of things that you want to stick up for,
Then there are things you just don't care for,
You'd like for everyone to agree with you someday,
But you've got to realize everyone does their own thing in a different way,
Some people sell everything just to be on their own,
Some people just can't stand to be alone,
A lot of people have things to offer and things to give,
There's a lot of things to do, there's a lot of life to live,
Always remember when you stand face to face,
That people have to work just as hard as you and a lot have been in the same place,
But not everyone's been through what you've been through,
You have to use your experiences to your benefit and create something new,
Show people that you are ready to shine,
Show them that you can make an honest dime,
Proove to the world that you are a giver,
Don't ever sit back go out and be a liver,
If you've got self-control then you got it all,
Without it you are bound to fall,
If you don't have self'control your world will fall apart,
You'll lose everything and have a brand new start,
This could either be good or it can be bad,
With the spot your at with yourself its bound to be sad,
But there is no giving up you have to stay,
Even when everything is already thrown away.
