The Twilight Truth by Ahkenaton
Just after the long slow death
And the celestial funeral,
known as sunset
Before the dark master, dons his imperial mantle
The great cloak of night
Comes that subtle enigma
The Twilight
That mystical layer
Between finite and forever
The gray area betwixt the age of abacus
And the computer
Where faces twist and turn in order to...
Discern and escape an unenviable plight
The truth within,
The Twilight
It's a place where the cold-blooded progenitor
The myriad-faced Lacerta
And his advanced, enhanced alien predator
The angelic hunter
Where the original star factory, fueled by
An unfathomable technology and good
Old-fashioned necromancy and
Crossbred human slavery
Fueled by the scent of sulphur and the
raging all-mighty power of lava
It's a place where you can descend
And a select few may ascend
Where the truth is seldom written in
Black and white
The Twilight
Metamorphosis
Catharsis
One form submerges
Another emerges
It's that comforting space
Between truth and lies
Wrong and right
Day and night
Where the picture changes
From fingertip to fingertip
From lip to delicate lip
Where it's impossible to figure
Friend
Foe
Lover
The Twilight
It's the place where
Slow forming dreams
Are misdirected into
Fast flowing streams
Wrong is never quite wrong
Where right is never quite right
It is...
The Twilight
Where your eyes
Are dull and bright
And evil is dark and light...
Where the insidious science
Hides its most virulent root
Inside a...
Twilight Truth
