For A Chain (Life's Chain) by Christopher Allan
I watched a charmed carrot fall as he hopped
The rabbit looked over, where he just stopped
Mirthless I was, so no great deal it seemed
And then he gone in the glare as it beamed
Later when walking, to a place no where,
Again came the glare and left something there
In look of which, my troubles did refrain
For by bleak rubble, lay the rabbit slain
Some assassin perhaps, of godly will
Had just taken a rabbit, for gods kill
And protesting nature, I did not do
Because in that instance, I did then coo
That perhaps when life takes away a soul
You should just be happy for it's not you
