Its Not Our Fault

Is there a place where its Quiet and Peaceful enough to hear the time go by
If there was, id have to have you with me , id catch time with my bare but fragile hands and hold it still and never let it go as long as your here
If there was a place like that i would look in your eyes and hug you until time slips away from me
But people are stupid, ignorant, and selfish making problems out of everything,and only worrying about their well being and ignoring our needs like a childs winening
Its people that are tearing us apart, not us

I yearn for them to let us and our precious time go
