The heart is something no one ever knows the truth about. How could any one feel her pain, confusion, wanting, needing, and aching soul?

Run fair maiden deep in to the haunting forest of despair. Soft tears fall from her lavender colored eyes, hitting the ground under her. How her heart raced with each agonizing step.

The moon creeping into the forest on the young girls reddened face. Her long moonlight brown hair draped down behind her back. Her eyes searching for a way out of the madness that keeps her captive.

Out of the shadows came the one she had known forever, a dear friend from her youth. His smile gentle with yes so soothing it could melt the sorrow away. She gasped with surprise falling to the ground. Rain slowly fell upon her and this mysterious one from the shadows.

Pure white wings become muddy, from her fall. The rain does not help much, but make her wings and pure white dress muddier still. A crystal tiara shimmers with each flicker of moonlight. Such confused eyes opening wide then closing in shame.

"Come..." he whispered, holding a hand out to her. Looking and not talking, her hand shaking as it reaches for the hand held out to her.

A gentle call for the fallen angel. A sharp pain fills her heart. No love, caring or true emotion felt for the longing whisper from within. No, must not fall to him or is it the true path?

She stands turning from the other, her eyes seem hollow or under a spell. The other grabs her shoulder, rain pours down more upon both who stand in the open. Lightning striking the sky with a brilliant flash of light.

She turned her hair floating up into the air, her eyes glowing gently, He let his hand fall backing away some. Her hands became fists at her side. Anger flowed over her, tears falling from her glowing, spell taken eyes.

Wings shoot into the sky with rain striking them. Her body muddy, wet, and cold, but none felt. A whisper fills her head once more. Deep inside she cries, but on the outside she screams with anguish. Lightning strikes her body.

The one in front of her gasped stepping back once more, not knowing what to do She raises a hand pointing a single finger towards her long forgotten friend. The love that he held was not enough to stop what has become his fate. The power of the lightning flows from her to strike the one who had lost his will that night. Flying into a tree, soft drops of blood fall.

Softly the breathing paces, heart racing, emotions run high. She stumbles and falls forward as the rain lightly strikes her body. A drip of blood running from her once rose colored lips. Wings torn and bleeding from the pain she had just given and taken.

He had gone forever to the place of true pain and agony. Suffering is what he was sent from and yet left with. No more will he feel what love was or could have been

Out of the dark forest walker the one that was the dark half of her. Bat wings folding around him like a cape. Long black hair dripped bitterly from the cool rain. His misty blue eyes looking towards the young maiden, descendents of the fallen ones. She does not move, but lies in the mud. Dark black clothing makes him blend well with the night.

Kneeling beside her, his hand brushes back the wet hair, which had been sticking to her smooth face.
