Perpetual Knight (10 ratings) by Will Antilles
Page 3 of 3 Suddenly the sky grew dark unnatural clouds rolled in
the town became encased in darkness. Insignificant beings scattered about
mostly
in a panic frenzy. Throughout the chaos Rachel strode on making her to the
shrine at the edge of town. In reaching the shrine she turned to watch the
scene
of chaos and smiled. Soon you all will be free and your most value possesses
you
will forfeit to me. To complete the first task Rachel of Everlyn needs despair,
pain and unbearable suffering. Returning her gaze to the entrance of the shrine
it opened a doorway and she enters. Inside the shrine it was like a whole new
universe thing of unimaginable origin existed here and here is were Rachel of
Everlyn needed to be. In the center of the shrine rotated a three- dimensional
cube once inside the cube I will be able to survey all that exist in this
plane.
I wish you could see this what a wonderful sight to see, everything on every
plane of existence all at once is breath taking if I breathed that is. I will
explain the first task to you as I look for what I need. The first of the seven
tasks is quite simple, a consolidation of power. By causing a whole mass of
souls to side with the StarNight his power would be unrivaled. Souls are
fragile
things by tormenting and then releasing them they become agents of their
tormentors. Only a soul master can control a whole mass of souls and that is
what I am looking for. "No, it can’t be they do exist but could it truly be
them?" Their myth is as great as my masters but only thought of as mere
fantasy.
I found what countless others have searched there is only one problem can I
control them? If my master was here he could but can I, I have no choice I must
obey my master. Prepare yourselves humans your time is now at hand for I will
unleash "Frick and Frack Devil Spawn from Hell!". These beings cause the
ultimate pain and suffering they are true soul masters. "Frick and Frack come
forth I Rachel of Everlyn in the name of Will of StarNight commands you!" A
long
silence settles in the shrine as the Everlyn waited for a response. The shrine
was cast into darkness then a hoarse like voice spoke and it commanded respect.
"You who have summoned us what is your bidding?". Rachel blinked her ice blue
eyes and spoke in a quiet soft authoritative tone "I offer you thousand upon
thousand of souls to command asking only one thing in return." "What is this
one
thing you would ask of us?" "The one thing I ask is for you to swear allegiance
to my master.". "Your master is the StarNight is it not, then he shall be ours
as well prepare for our arrival!". Stepping out the cube Rachel of Everlyn
exhausted as she spoke the words and in a moment they would appear. Colors of
light from all over the spectrum began to bend and bind. An ear-piercing hum
rang through the countryside windows shattered, dogs' howled, children cried
and
a deep chill crept in.
