He looked down and saw Jessica with he face smashed between the windshield and her seat he swallowed hard and looked in the back seat. The roof of the car had been smashed down crushing both Jacob and Trina. He looked around for the man and saw him standing near him on his right. He watched as the angel helped each of his friends out of their bodies and out of the car.

"Hey you! Could you help me out? I think my legs are broken."

The angel left the others walked back to the car. He Lifted J.P. out of the car and set him on the ground.

"Do you know what's going to happen to you?" the angel asked.

J.P. shrugged and looked over at his friends, "I guess you're supposed to be death huh?"

The angel did not take his eyes off of J.P. "you could call us that."

"Then I'm probably going to die. Maybe go to hell." He looked back at the angel standing over him.

The angel shook his head. Shivers went down J.P.'s spine when Twestemercer spoke, "I'm sorry, but you're going to live."

Uniluk
(unlucky)

Banjo grinned as he left the casino. Wow! He thought. This is my lucky night. He thought of all the things he could buy with his winnings. He walked around the corner and bumped into a tall man in a long coat.

"Excuse me." He said without stopping. As he hurried down an alley way he heard footsteps behind him. He looked back. Two men followed him with hats drawn low. Scared he broke into a fast walk. Then as he heard the men behind him closing in. he began to run. The men were faster and they caught up with him. One man swung at him and knocked him to the ground he tried to get up and the other man flipped out a knife and slashed At Banjo. Banjo felt blood trickle down his neck. He dropped his bag and grabbed his throat. One of the men grabbed the bag and ran with the other at his heals. Banjo slumped against a building and tried to call out, but only blood came.

Then Banjo heard footsteps. The footsteps came nearer and nearer, then they slowed and came to a stop. Banjo turned his head as much as he could. There stood the tall man he had bumped into earlier. He tried to speak but again only blood flowed. The man sat down beside him his wings spread out behind him.

"Don't try to talk yet. It's not time." The angel stared without blinking into Banjo's eyes.

"Some times it takes a while."

Banjo stretched out his hand to the angel. A tear fell from its cheek and mushrooms sprouted out of a crack in the pavement.

"Damn," muttered the angel as he smashed the mushrooms.

"We're not supposed to leave those around in the cities."

He was silent for a while then he spoke again, "would you like me to keep talking?"

Banjo blinked tears out of his eyes and tried to nod.

"Someone will find you tomorrow, at about noon. They will not be able to identify you till about a week later. Your wife will know about a month from now, and remarry two years after your funeral."

"I love her." Whispered Banjo.

The angel stood up and helped Banjo up.

"she knows," said Uniluk, "and she loved you."

They walked away leaving Banjo's body behind.
