Cassia shook her head, "oh Hasi, why? Why did it happen to us." She gave her child to the angel and Hasi helped her out of her body. "Every one dies," said the angel as he led the crowd outside. "But why like this?" asked Cassia, looking at all the children. The angel handed the child back to Cassia and help up a child sitting beside an empty water jar. "I really don't know," Said the angel as he led the ever growing group through a dry wheat field. At the center of the field they found a small girl and her mother beside a dead dog. Its blood dripped from their lips. "Perhaps if you ask the One when you see him," Said the angel as he opened a door to Eternity. "Do you think he will tell me?" asked Cassie "I don't know," He answered, "But it can't hurt to ask." The door closed behind the group. A tear fell and sprouted into a mushroom, which quickly died in the dry heat. Famelar Penny ran past her mother, heading for the front door. Jennifer herd the door open and shut. "Penny!" she called. "Penny, what are you doing hon? Penny ran into the kitchen, "mommy, Aim-lar is here." Jennifer put down her dishcloth and went to the foyer. She looked around but didn't see any one. Penny followed her and giggled. Jennifer turned to her and gave her a stern look, "Penny, I don't have time to play games with you. I need to get cleaned up before your father gets home." She turned and went back into the kitchen. "You wanna see my Barbie's, Mr. Alard? Daddy got me the new Mary Kate and Ashley ones. They're really pretty." Penny led her invisible friend upstairs. Jennifer sighed and continued washing. When she finished she went upstairs and found Penny surrounded by a mess of Barbie dolls. "Baby, daddy and I are going out tonight so you're going to have a baby-sitter." Penny made a face, "is it going to be Miss snotty?" "I hate miss snotty," she added to her invisible friend. "No," said Jennifer with a frown, "it's not going to be Mrs. Sotty. In fact it's...." Penny interrupted, "Oh! I know. You can let Mr. A-lar watch me." Jennifer rubber her forehead, "Penny please I..." A noise at the front door stopped her. She turned and hurried down stairs. "Miss snoty doesn't have wings like yours," Penny said to the invisible man. Jennifer reached the front door. She heard the key turning in the lock and saw the door open. Her husband lay dead on the stepps and the murderer stood in the doorway. She turned to run but he got her in the back at the foot of the stairs. Jenny heard her mother's call choked off. She stood up and looked at her friend. "Falar, I'm scared." "I'ts o.k." said her friend, "I'm here." "will it hurt?" Footsteps started up the stairs. "No. It will just feel a little funny......Like getting your ears pierced." The Killer looked at Penny for a moment then lifted his gun and shot once. Famelar helped Penny up. "Alright, lets go get you parents." They went down the stairs together as the killer started to search the rest of the house. Kellme Brawadior
