Moon (7 ratings)
         by Ashley

The moon is a mystery. Sometimes its by my side, along for the ride. It follows me through every bump in the road. I dip under a bridge only to come out the other side to discover my faithful companion has disappered. In this instance, for this mere second, I feel alone and lost. Then out peeks this wonderous gleaming light and I am whole again. I am no longer alone, but theres now someone along for this pathway through life. Gloomy nights bring an ominous glow to my heart. Where is my friend? Is he still looking over me? A sorrowful pain blankets my soul. But as the clouds part, the stars come out and without prevail apperas this crater covered majesty. I feel safe under its watchful eye, I feel protected and I know that every night I can depend on it to be there. I never lose faith with it by my side. My shield,my light, my moon, my armor from the burdens of life.
