A War With Humanity

I arrived on the island with a force of six thousand UP marines. My responsibility was to defend this island at all costs; I would accomplish this or die trying. The Coalition used cloaking technology originally pioneered at the time I was in secondary school; it was far more advanced than what we had ever dreamed. Because of this I was forced to spread my perimeter thin with defenses, and leave the center vulnerable to a sneak attack by the Coalition; it was a risk that had to be taken. Sure enough they came.

A force easily forty times our own, quickly bearing down on our position. Outnumbered and outgunned, we stood fast and held the line. The first volley of plasma weapons lurched into the sides of the island defenses. Weakly, the forces returned fire. By the time the Coalition forces fired a third volley we had lost. With only a mere two hundred faithful left.

I am today the third in command of the only resistance to the Coalition. TheGuerilla force is lead by Colonel Conroy, and second in command, my friend, General John Savage. We stand the last line of defense against the Coalition. Our only goal is to rid this beautiful world of the parasitic Coalition… the humans.
