Byberry (Part 2) by Erzsebet Bathory
Page 3 of 3 As the time came nearer, they both were anxious. It was finally the break
they had both been waiting for. Anne was hoping that their love was strong
enough to bring them together after death. At 12 o’clock exactly, they met in
the closet where Henry had dragged her. Scalpels in hands, they started. Each
afraid to hurt the other, the made little scratches. Finally, with no patience
left to spare, Anne reached out and sliced Henry’s stomach open. He did the
same and they lay there, holding each other while their entrails slowly seeped
from their young, weakening bodies.
