Numb
         by Erzsebet Bathory

As you stop it,
The energy slowly flows
From you in liquid form.
It bleeds, it oozes
From and to the pain
Life has caused.
You strive to try,
And decrease the flow
Nothing can stop it.
It hurts, but it's numb.
Nothing makes sense
And you're thankful for it.
If you give up,
And succumb to the numbness
Your while life is at risk.
You don't care though,
The numb feelings
Are so inviting, tempting.
Goodbye life, love
You're giving in
To what you want.
As you bleed,
The feelings decrease
Life slips away.
You're enjoying ever moment
Of the pain that will
Cease to be in moments...
