"A great sadness befell me," White Eagle sighed, " but when my beautiful Gentle Dove died in my arms, even though I had betrayed the magic to try and save her, my heart and mind took flight from my spirit and faith, and for many years, I lived alone to grieve Gentle Doves passing and to study the ancient magic and legends of both dark and light until I found the one worthy enough to whom I can pass on the power of the arrowheads sacred magic, you will be the chosen one, my warrior and student, Billy."

The ancient Indian wizard made a sacred pact with the kid ranger. Billy would become White Eagles successor to the magical power of The Manitou, and in exchange, the Native American sage would help Billy find his rightful, fantastic legacy left to him by his birth parents. But Billy would later learn that if he broke the bargain, a terrible curse would be unleashed.

White Eagle chanted some magical words and the clouds above Billys head parted and spread and amazingly revealed another vision. It was Mesa City, the destination of Holts Rangers. The town was under siege by The Black Hangmans outlaws. And Billys worst fears appeared to him as the entire town, became the Black Hangmans hostage. Billy frightfully saw his Ranger family of Col. Tim, Big Boy, Jubilee and Salvation being led to the gallows by the infernal Black Hangman himself. The wicked shadow of the noose covered his adopted fathers face.

"Please, please White Eagle," Billy cried as he saw the magical vision, "I ve got to save my family!"

"You have the supreme power in your hand," White Eagle assured Billy. "Once you say the word RAMSFEW, you Billy Steele will become my successor to the magic, the great Indian spirit of the storm, the legendary cyclone of the saddle, and the frontier firebrand known as The Lightning Warrior. But you must give me your sacred vow, your sacred promise Billy Steele, that you only use this power of the Lightning Warrior when a loved one is in extreme danger, and there is no other choice but to unleash this furious magic, and that you never, ever tell anyone that you possess the magic of The Lightning Warrior. You cannot become the arrowheads betrayer as I had become. The arrowheads betrayer will unleash a terrible curse, if the arrowheads magic is used by a traitor and keeper of false promises. Such a curse will rob the arrowheads holder of the magical gift, and the curse will cause destruction to everyone and everything the betrayer holds dear. But I swear to protect and guide you throughout your quest, Billy Steele, and to see to it that you do not make the same fatal mistake I had made."

In a ritual nearly as old as mankind, Billy mixed his blood with White Eagle s this was Billys vow to follow the teachings of the Indian medicine man and sage. The blood bonded the student and teacher, forever.

Still in disbelief, Billy nevertheless held the tiny black arrowhead up to the skies as White Eagle instructed. Billy uttered the magic word "RAMSFEW," and just as White Eagle felt a magnificent surge of power through his youthful body some sixty years ago, Billy felt an unbridled and fantastic transformation through his adolescent body and soul.

Billy still retained his human sensibilities, but he experienced a god like transformation, as this 12-year old white youth became a Native American super god. The black arrowhead glowed as it released 10,000 years of its Indian legend, lore and magic through the white boys physical, mental and spiritual being.
