BILLY STEELE: KID RANGER--THE DARK SKULL'S REVENGE (1 rating) by Ronald Binder
Page 13 of 18 The black clad masked man then grinded his boot onto the fallen American
flag, driving the symbol of freedom into the dirt before setting it ablaze.
Just as The Lightning Warrior was about to unleash more powerful energy bolt
at the soldiers and flag, his subconscious received a message to meet the new
Dark Skull at Lucy Fur’s hellish saloon. While a burned Col. Tim revived White
Eagle, the Lightning Warrior again flew on a thunderbolt skateboard to the
devil’s roadhouse.
At Lucy Fur’s hellish saloon the new Dark Skull was waiting for the
warrior’s return. "The mine’s location, where is it," The new Dark Skull
demanded of the warrior.
"The old brave would not talk," the Lightning Warrior angrily replied. "The
medicine man seemed to be shielded by an unknown power."
"You have failed, Warrior," The new Dark Skull proclaimed. The titanic
terror became consumed with rage for he had broken the promise he had made to
his lover, Lucy Fur. The she-devil suddenly appeared to confront the two. Lucy
Fur’s alluring beauty gave way to her true satanic self-grisly faced with
jagged fangs dripping with blood. She was surrounded by her grotesque demonic
cowboy minions. Her eyes burned like a thousand infernos.
"You have betrayed us, warrior," Lucy Fur howled and she ordered her tool,
the new Dark Skull to see that the warrior pay for his loss. The gigantic Dark
Skull then swiftly drew his massive gun and shot at the warrior’s heart. The
warrior was struck by the cannon ball sized bullet and crashed to the ground.
Lucy Fur shrieked in a victorious glee as her plan to destroy the warrior came
to fruition.
As the warrior bled to death, Lucy Fur and the new Dark Skull prepared to
attack White Eagle. They vowed nothing would stop them from finding the
location of The Knox’s secret mine from the Indian.
Lucy Fur, in all of her satanic glory, and her Dark Skull devotee then
prepared to journey to White Eagle’s cave as The Lightning Warrior continued to
lose his life’s blood. Before embarking on their vindictive mission, Lucy Fur
and the new Dark Skull became shocked by a vision thundering in the clouds
above them-the tremendous visage of White Eagle appeared in the skies and
roared at them while lightning bolts crackled around him; his voice caused
their spines to shudder.
"Sidewinder," the ancient Indian exclaimed, "you have been victimized by the
heartless devil woman standing beside you. She is using you, my son. You have
been betrayed to your entire life!"
"Where is the mine," the new Dark Skull continued to demand. "You hold the
secret to my destiny, my true legacy. With Lucy Fur’s love, I have become more
powerful than my father to avenge his death and reclaim all that is mine."
"Your father poisoned your mind, Sidewinder," White Eagle howled with
authority. "Your father told you falsehoods about your past, about your true
identity, for he was so blinded by rage, he infected all who surround him. Your
father and his followers are the true killers of your birth parents. Your lady,
Lucy Fur has plans for you, but not the kind you want. She is the devil
incarnate, an evil presence; she’s only after the power to conquer the
universe. She used you, Sidewinder, used you to eradicate all who oppose her.
And she will destroy you once she no longer has use for you. But you,
Sidewinder, are in fact a descendant of a noble and valiant family, The Knox
family. You have an inherent good in you. You must use your power to undo the
evil before it is too late."
The Lightning Warrior remained sprawled on the blood soaked ground. He
moaned an aria of pain. The omnipotent White Eagle, seeing his student about to
breathe his last, dispatched a magical force field from his head’s temple. The
Lightning Warrior became elevated by the Indian’s magic. Next Page Copyright © 1999, 2000, 2001 Ronald Binder, sffworld.com. All rights reserved.
