My Love To You Is Symbolic

My love to you is symbolic, not sexual
For I love you for your inner beauty,
encased in that breathtaking physique of yours.
There shall be no other woman in my life, I swear,
After you pass away, so young, due to some fatal disease
that is eating you every step of the way.
I'm sorry but I can't save you
But I can give you all my love for as long as I shall live
It will be as pure as spring water
And as timeless as eternity itself
For my love to you is eternal, not ephemeral
I love you for your loyalty, your greatness of heart
I love you for your unabridged love to me, so I vow to you,
I shall feel your love even when you're gone
I shall dedicate my whole life in your prayer
Because you've taken that sacred place
in my heart where God would reside
I shall pray, with no wish for redemption but one:
May god give you another life, a full life
to live together with me over again.
