Parallel Paths (8 ratings) by Belle Boyd
Into the darkness we go
A new path rarely walked
And our path is scattered with rubble and briars
Our minds cluttered with thought
The evil that lurks behind us
The light that shines ahead
Each one tempting us and pulling us
To choose their way - their path to tread
A fork in the track is a blind spot
A place where a decision is made
To the right is fighting and madness
To the left is serene and doubt seems to fade
Towards the left we walk
Into the sunshine we go
The path is clear and flat
We made the right choice we know
