Short story writer by Roger Boyer
Page 4 of 4 Tom had successfully hidden himself aboard the plane.
Three aircraft lifted off the runway. Carrying heavily armed German officers
and American pilots. The German officers quickly learned to fly the modern
aircraft. They were Hitler's best pilots. The pilot's wore sliver medals.
Tom had smuggled himself aboard the point plane. He successfully jammed the
bombing mechanism. The German officers did not know Tom was aboard or his plan.
The planes flew, in a matter of minutes there were over the Pentagon. The order
was given to drop the first atomic weapon on the Pentagon. The bomb jammed in
the compartment. The other two bombers did not make the trip. They had been
destroyed during flight. F-15s and F-16s had shot to bombers to pieces.
The second bomb jammed also thanks to Tom's sabotage ability. The third bomb
left the plane dropping from 40,000 ft. and destroyed the Pentagon. Tom felt
bad. The plane headed for the Atlantic. They crashed in the ocean. Tom was able
to escape the crash.
Meanwhile back in Washington the standoff continued. The Germans were
unreasonable and would not surrender. They demanded to talk with Hitler. They
did not believe he was dead.
The vice president dispatched the FBI. To negotiate with the German
officers.... that day In that team was Tom's grandson John. John was able to
enter the room where the hostages were prisoners. In a clever maneuver John was
able to free the president.
It was then decided by the German officers their plan had failed. They
decided to surrender the atomic weapons to the Marines. The congressman were
freed and sent home. The weapons were confiscated the Germans were disarmed.
The German officers were embarrassed to find what year it was. There are
taken by bus to a nearby military base. Tom was reunited with his family and
after many years they had their union.
the end.
