Hello this is doctor Richards may I help you? The voice came to him carried in the doctors speach "do you have a job?" it questioned. "I am looking for a therapist" Al said ignoring the voices. "How much for a visit" "Ninety dollars an hour" the voices message "you don't have a problem" filled Als mind. He knew something was starting to go wrong a few weeks ago now things were being distorted voices accosted him. "I can see you on wednsday the 18th if you'd like at 9:00 am" "Yes I'd like that My name is Al Cromwell". He managed to say.

"I don't remember" Al said 'why did you do it' came the surly voice of the doctor. 'what caused you do put the wires into the electrical outlet' "I was sending a message" Al rationalized not sure why he had done it. 'What caused you to think that' "I was fooling them I was mocking them I didn't care anymore. I wanted to send a message in a different way than in thought" 'A different way than in thought?' "They live in electricity I tapped directly into them" 'what were you trying to say?' the doctor asked curious. "I was defying them I was saying screw you , we humans are going to organize against you somehow" 'Your lucky you didn't get electrocuted' "I know" 'We want you to try and describe your experience with the aliens you say are watching you, we are very interested in them.' "Well they know what we all think they can distort time, they can hunt us down like animals" Al was getting upset. Why couldn't they see or believe it, "their here now " He wanted to say. He was led out of the room and he looked beaton. He wanted to go back, go back to a time before the voices before God had come to him in the sky and made his world change forever. He felt that he was on the run mixed up in some kind of program that went against the norm. He kept looping again and again his thoughts playing back assorted tid bits looking for an answer to the problem over and over again. This wall is surmountable he told himself each time, there is a weakness I can penetrate, I will find the secret the answer to all of this somehow I will find a way.

Al dressed and checked his appearance, His fatigues were green camoflauge. He carried a book bag filled with items like a survival blanket and a match safe. he strode outside leaving the world of aliens behind him. He felt drawn to the outdoors and would take long walks alone thinking his thoughts. He welcomed experiences with nature. He floated in rivers, observed wild birds, and watched wild beavers basking in the sun. His observations and thoughts seemed profound and critical to his existance and he wrote his strange thoughts down. Today was a day to ride his bike around. He rode confidently and fast across the bridge over the river and down to the wooden platform to watch the ducks. The earth turned and he turned it made perfect sense to him. The river flowed and he thought it was pushed. He worked very hard at thinking dynamically. The problem was that he thought way too much.

The police had people in white unmarked panel vans, carrying machine guns and wearing black battle uniforms. Al saw them when they drove past. They were planning on a midnight raid to kidnap him.
