Say Nothin' At All (13 ratings) by Brandy
When will I see you again? Will it be the same 'ol "hey, how ya been?"
Maybe we'll share only a smile , oh, how I wish we could chat for a while
Whatever we say, will be small talk and that's fine
What I wish you knew stays locked in my
heart and in my mind
Just take a look into my eyes and you will see
How I feel and that you hold the key
If you could read my mind, or hear my heart from miles away
You too would know it aches for you every second
of evey day
When it came to me, it was so loud and clear
the words that flooded my heart, I hope
one day you'll hear
Remember when we acted like we felt nothing
but hate
While our friends would just laugh and ask if we've
set a date
We've both had 10,000 times to simply confess
But were rudely interrupted by, stubborn pride
more or less
Maybe you too feel much more than love for a friend
and that was just a message you forgot to send
Wishful thinking I guess, I need to get real
The way you've shown, is the only way you feel
I'll settle for that, the memories I would never trade
It was all in fun, but for you ,my love will never fade
I'll just keep this secret of how it felt to fall
So, listen to my eyes cause.....
"We say it best, when we say nothing at all."
