Arianna thought long and hard, she would have to do something. She was no match for her husband but she thought that if he able to do something like that to her then she would turn the tables on him. How could she get away with murder, she only had a few hours, her husband had had weeks to plan. Maybe she could do the same thing to him .The insurance policy she had was not as big,but it was a tidy little sum and she would be comfortable for a long time.

She knew she had to make it look like a robbery,so she went outside to pry open the back door but it had already been done. Her husband had everything ready, even the phone line had been cut and there next to the back door was his weapon of choice,a sword that he had gotten when they visited japan. She thought what a horrible death she would have had. That convinced her all the more that she had to do this. It would do her no good going to the police with all this information because she wouldn't get any of the money...

Arianna slowly approached the stairs, that led up to their bed room. She took each step as slowly as she could,as not to disturb him,as she reached the top,she started to cry.How could he put her in a position like this, kill or be killed!!! She looked in on her husband,he was fast a sleep. She approached the bed cautiously, she looked down at him.. Carlos my darling wake up.. She wanted him to know it was her that was going to do the act and not him. Carlos slowly opened his eyes,he saw the sword and realized that his wife was going to kill him. He started crying and begging for his life. As the sword came down he twisted in pain. The first strike was the hardest, but all her anger and rage kept the blows coming...ten seconds it was finished..she looked at her husband,he was dead. It was her turn, she started striking the sword at her own body, she collapsed with the pain, but knew that it was necessary,if she was going to get away with murder. She started crawling downstairs, she knew she had one thing left to d o and that was to get rid of the gloves, she put them in the fire place and waited for them to burn, she was bleeding profusely, but she knew that she had to get to her neighbours. She crawled outside,it was raining very heavily, but she had to find the force within to make it to the house next door. As she struck the door countless times, noone was answering, she knew she didn't have alot of time left and that she would also die .She drifted in and out of conciousness, she tried one last time but it was useless, noone was home.

As she looked down at her broken body, she couldn't believe how things were turning out. She thought what had been the best laid plan, had backfired in her face. Why hadn't she thought of checking to see if the neighbours were home first? Alot of things were now were running through her mind. She had had a good life but how easily it is for one person to turn against the other. She had spent over thirty years with her husband, who was ready to kill her.It just goes to show what people will do for money in desperate times, even to there loved ones.

She sensed the end was near, she could actually feel all the blood slowly leaving her body, but she was calm, and in a wierd sort of way at peace with what she had done, after all he was going to kill her. Hours had passed, and as the last drop of blood left her dying body, help arrived but it was to late, she was already dead, but she died knowing that her face was the last face her husband had seen.
