You And Me (9 ratings)
         by Bubbles

When I cried, you wiped my tears.
When I was scared, you comforted my fears.

When I was alone, you sat with me.
When I was weak, you strengthened me.

When I fell, you caught my arm.
When I was hurt, you protected me from harm.

When I slept, you held me tight.
When I did wrong, you showed me right.

But sometimes things aren't always fair.
And you let this go, you took the dare.

Now, when I can't breathe, you hold yours back.
And when I can't see, you allow me to slack.

When I come forward, you move aside.
What I try to show, you try to hide.

When I feel so far, you are not near.
And when I go there, you stay here.

When I need you most, you are never around.
When I call out your name, you hear not a sound.

When I want to go, you want to stay.
And when I try to talk, you walk away.

So, when I say I love you, you won't listen.
And you'll never know all that your missing.
