"If you will just step into the jack here." The other man said walking towards the sphere. I gave him a strange look of confusion.

"It's an older model than they use now, but trust me it'll do the trick." He said. I didn't move, the look frozen on my face.

"He has amnesia." The man who had led me into the room said.

"Well then just come here." The man standing by the sphere said. I walked over to him slowly.

"If you'll just look right here." He said pointing his finger at the sphere. I couldn't make out any kind of imperfection where he pointed and leaned towards it to get a better look.

"It's to easy." He said and shoved me towards the sphere. I braced myself for impact but fell right through the shell. I never hit the ground, instead seemed to be floating in a black limbo.

"Here we go." I heard a voice say and all the sudden the whole world turned blinding white. I felt myself quickly lose consciousness.

I awoke lying on the floor of the white room. I stood up, my head was pounding again, I looked around and everything was gone, the sphere, the two men, everything. I spun around a couple of times looking to see if I had missed something.

"Confused Mr. Blackwell?" A voice asked from behind me. I spun around to see where it came from. It was the man who had led me into the room.

"Where did you come from?" I asked him, I hadn't seen him in the room a few seconds ago.

"I am an interactive hologram, I'm not actually here." The man said. I walked up to him and touched him. He felt real. I gave him a look of disbelief.

"Could I do this." He said and suddenly disappeared. I almost jumped out of my skin.

"Back here." The voice said from behind me. I spun around and he was behind me. I blinked my eyes a few times.

"In a word, you're fucked." He said. I didn't understand.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Apparently you were bred to work for the government, probably trying to undermine programs like myself. Regardless your chip is unrecoverable. Oh yes and you did kill your wife, I was able to recover that much, the rest is protected. I've taken the liberty of alerting Elle to your presence. You will be apprehended in thirteen to fifteen minutes." He said.

"Apprehended, I thought you were going to help me!" I yelled.

"Good bye Mr. Blackwell." The man said and then was gone.

"Wait come back, don't leave me here!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"I told you you were in a world of trouble." The old man said suddenly appearing in front of me.

"Help me!" I yelled running towards him and grabbing onto his arms. He started to laugh and threw me off of him. I flew across the room and slammed into the back wall. By the time I stood up he was gone. I had no idea what to do. I had to do something. I took a deep breath figuring a panic wouldn't help anything. I ran out of the large room and down several hallways. I kicked open every door I saw looking for something anything.

I stopped for a few seconds to catch my breath. I leaned over breathing heavily. I lifted my head and looked at a door slightly down the hall from me. There was a sign above it that read "Pressure Lock". I thought for a few seconds, and bolted through the door.
