Why by Kristi Burkhard
Why did you talk to me?
Why did you care?
Why did you kill me?
With your stare!
Why did you smile?
Why did you look?
Why did you run a mile?
To kill captain hook!
You made me smile
You made me cry
You made me happy
You made me lie
Why did you do it?
Why even lie
Why did it happen like this?
For me left to find
That you have a girlfriend
And that you're a dog
And that you only
Liked what you saw
Why did you hurt me?
Why did you flirt with me?
Why couldn't you see?
The tears flowing inside of me
Now its over and now its gone
What I felt for very long
The only thing I have left to say is
How can you still look at me that way?
