Starjumper) and a silver-gray satin shirt with a black suede vest. His hair was pulled back with the silver cord that was on Blackmoon.

Velore stood before the village speaking Shadowswift's lifeline and Moondance's, which he had learned from Blackmoon. Then he summoned them forward to the circle of life and love.

" Shadowswift, Moondance, two days past you spoke each others soul names. Now you will vow to each other your souls."

" Moondance, I Shadowswift shall share all with you, I will feed, cloth, protect and love you for all my times and beyond if the Ancient High Ones are so good to me." Moondance lifted her veil then knelt before Shadowswift and cut her palm.

" Shadowswift, I Moondance will share all with you. As my blood spills I shall do all I can to protect, love, feed, cloth and care for you now and beyond my life time if the High One's of Ancient Times permit me." She raised her hand to Shadowswift. Just as he was about to take her blood she pulled her hand away.

" Beloved what's wrong? Why do you pull away?"

" I'm part human. My mother was half, my grandmother full human. " A tear ran down her face. " Do you still want me?" Shadowswift knelt down beside her and took her bloody hand and kissed it for a long while.

" Now we are one. And when we have our first child, he or she will be the beginning of a new race and era."

With that the ceremony was over with and the celebrating continued until well after midnight. Many slept in the circle either to drunk or simply too tired to go back to their homes. Moondance and Shadowswift sat in front of the fireplace in their hut sipping wine staring lovingly into each other's eyes. He then touched her shoulder.

" Are you ready Azla? "

" Not really but if I don't do it now I never will." She smiled shyly at him. They set the glasses down and he gently picked her up and carried her to the bed. Shadowswift sat her down on the bed then removed her veil and slippers. Slowly Moondance untied the sash around his waist then jumped up and started to dance with it.

Shadowswift sat on the bed and removed his boots as he watched Moondance smoothly move around seductively (though she didn't know it.) Shadowswift grabbed at her and Moondance playfully twirled away. Playfully, like a child, she stuck her tongue out at him. He growled, grabbed her and threw her on the bed. He roughly grabbed and kissed her.

" Azare don't! Stop please!" She cried out. He stopped and stared at her realizing this tender rose before him was not his rough and wild lover Darksun but his gentle and tender life mate Moondance Starrunner Dragonheart. Gently he gathered her into his arms and held her stroking her hair and whispering sweet words. Tears ran down her face.

" Oh Azla I'm so sorry. I do have to learn to be more gently, you're not Darksun. Forgive me!" She touched his face and found it wet with his own tears. The only ones he had ever shed in his life.

" You're crying? Why?'' She wiped his tears away with a trembling hand.

" I wanted tonight to be special for you. I wanted..." Moondance touched her fingers to his lips.

" It's alright. Let's pretend this didn't happen." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the nose. "Teach me love. Teach me all my soul mate." Gently he laid her down and began to kiss her. He traced her arms down to her hands, then her neck down to her firm stomach like he did when they spoke each other's soul names.

This time she took his hand and placed it on her breast.
