Almost The End (27 ratings)
         by Silver Cantrell

Through the thunder and pouring rain, across the dark blue skies
Her Lord of Dragons heard the pain of her dreadful haunted cries

He looked down ,to see the Silver Dragons blood still on her hands
Saw the grief ,the tortured soul of the one who now understands

The Silver Lady cried such bitter tears for the life she had just taken
She touched his face, her rage all gone and prayed for him to waken

Oh My Silver Dragon please forgive me what I did it was wrong,
I thought you were that special one ,I had waited for so long

You gave me hope, dried my tears , you helped my find my dreams
But I caused you pain ,lost your love, and nothing was as it seems

It was I that did wrong you so, I who would not understand why
Why you could never love me, dear Silver Dragon ,I didnt even try

Oh Lord of Dragons hear me, you the have to power to make him live
Please take my breathe away from me, my life for his I will gladly give,

Let me die here in his place, let my own blood now stain the ground
Then he will be reborn again , and our lives at last , will be unbound

Lord with your sword of truth , for his sake, quickly do this thing I ask
You have cared for me for so long, but now I free you from this task.

I will never return to his life again, I am to ashamed of who I became
You have cared for me, I ve asked to much, but a request I make again

Give him back his faeries and the gargoyles let him once more command
He will need them for his own true love,

................Now my Lord of Dragons forever let go of my hand
