A Silver Lady Again (19 ratings) by Silver Cantrell
The lord of Dragons knew for her to kill someone in anger and hate.
Would live forever in her heart and so she had sealed her own fate,
He loved her and cared deeply for his beautiful warrior princess
But with truth and honour he knew he must grant her this request.
He must take her life, for the Silver Dragons and thus to set her free
She would finally leave this life far behind, and ever would cease to be
How would it be possible for him to carry out the deed that he must
For him to lose his beloved angel, but in him she had placed her trust .
This mighty Lord, with breathe of fire, who for justice and truth did fight
Accepted the path that he must take, to bring her from the darkness to light
I have never known fear, but I know it now in this decision I now make
So I will grant all your wishes, and give him back his life, for your sake
But my own dear princess, I can only save you, if I am sure your love is true
If I use my sword of truth, to slay you, only your love will see us through
As you feel my sword piece your heart, you will not die but fall asleep at last
Every hurt and pain that you have felt with disappear forever from your past
You will only be freed from this spell by your one true love ,whoever he may be.
His kiss will bring your life back to you, and I pray to the heavens it will be me
So with the courage born of a Great Lord, he carried out this dreadful task
He saw the pain and fear fall from her eyes, as she lay there at peace at last
He gently enfolded her into his great wings, and bent to touch her face, her hair
But this great Lord is filled with doubt and a fear thats to much for him to bear
With a thunderous roar, he screamed in rage and flew up to the heavens above
He left her sleeping , the sleep of the dead,
waiting for his kiss, waiting for his love
