The Warrior Princess (19 ratings) by Silver Cantrell
The Silver Lady recovered slowly under the Lord of dragon's care
But cold steel surrounded the loving heart that was once there
And the pain turned into hate and the revenge she must take
How he would pay for his sins. This time he had made a mistake
He had lied about so much told the same stories to so many
He said this was love born in heaven, when there wasnt any
He lived his own dream world, and over woman cast his spell
He used them and then forgot them, leaving them to live in hell
Taking up her sword she donned the armour of an avenging princess
The deep anger and hatred she felt, replaced all thoughts of tenderness
She changed her appearance completely and waited for him to come
And as soon as he found her, he said,Princess,my love you are the one
She smiled back and said l love you, while hiding all the fury inside .
This time she would finish it , there was no where for him to hide
Then he took her into his arms and whispered sweet words of love
And as she took up her sword,a great flash of lighting lit the sky above
She said ,I kill you now, to save others from the evil magic you weave
For all the heartbreak and pain you will no longer be able to leave
So goodbye for the last time , I did love you once, so very much
But my Lord of Dragons loves me, and my heart you can no longer touch
He felt the sword piece his heart, and cried why are you doing this thing
Because I was your Silver Lady, to who you first promised the aquamarine ring
But as you lie dying remember me, and why I came, for be sure
I will now shout from the mountain tops.
The Silver Dragon is no more
