She's All That by Gwen Carmandy
Page 1 of 1 Miami. A vampire's city. It's pulsing with wraiths and hot blood. Tonight is
the perfect night to kill. The city lights up at night, artificial lights scar
my face making it seem even more morbidly pale than it already is. Everything
looks superficial. As I stroll the streets looking to feed I notice her. Her
raven hair flies in her face and tosses with the wind. A blows free in
beautiful curls. Her skin is milky white and her eyes are of the purest cobalt.
Her body, covered under silky modern garments, tight faded jeans and an indigo
sequin top, aches with the pleasure to dance the night away in pass out in a
bar. I'll give her that good time.
I stride past the hoards of people, pressing against my body in smoldering
waves. To the girl, I am gorgeous. My long blond hair falls close to my
shoulders and I move with muscular catlike grace. My eyes are pulsating violet
that contrast with my alabaster skin like amethysts jutting out of smooth
limestone rock. My large eyes stare it her in an expression of mock sadness.
She turns around to look at the tall stranger who is pressing through the
ecstasy filled crowd to see her, to know her.
Amadeo .I plant my name in her mind. Her tongue rolls with rapture at
the sound my name. She licks her lips as she slowly twists her snakelike body
to dance. The music touches her like a lover, carefully caressing her,
torturing her senses. I appear behind her, and let one of my long fingers
sensually touch her shoulder. Her eyes dart around and widen with sheer
delight. Her luscious lips mouth my name, Amadeo. Her being slowly like
a goddess wraps her arms around me and begins to dance.
"So," she whispers, not wanting to ruin the moment, "What's your name?" she
wants to know I'm not an apparition of beauty,
"Amadeo," I say with the cadence of a small boy. I entice her, I sense the
blood fervor in her, and her blood rises, intoxicating me. I see her as fount
of red water. She smiles a flirtatious smile and winks one of her sapphire
eyes,
"Let's get out of here." She suggests naively . I smile at her suggestion.
She read my mind like an open book, turned to the page, but she doesn't know
what I want. I casually walk to the door where my silver Mercedes Benz stands
in its glorious splendor. Hey, if you're a vampire, travel in style! Her eyes
glitter as she sees the smooth car, she stares at me like she's known me for a
thousand years. I let her slide into the seat beside mine, and then I get in
the car. Slowly she kissed the nape of my neck, passionately, what she does to
me is what she would do to me, if we'd been together for twenty years. She
thinks she knows me, she thinks she knows my body, she thinks she knows me
soul.
She doesn't know me. Not at all.
