Seeing ghosts kind of scared him sometimes but he hasn’t seen one in years. & he read his mom’s thoughts all the time. But he never told his parents about his gifts since they never had those gifts.

Even when Anthony first moved into his new home, he never liked it. He didn’t know MaL & Cindy were buried there but he knew the house was not a good place for him. Even his life got worse when he went to a new school…

Chapter 6: 1st day @ school

Even Anthony sensed that he wouldn’t have a good 1st day at school. For there was lost trouble waiting to be found. & the trouble was found right away at recess.

There was a bully named Chuck who hated Anthony the first time he saw him. He hated quiet kids with glasses. Chuck even walked up to Anthony, took his glasses, dropped them on the ground & stomped on them. Chuck then said "What do you see now? Crapony!"

Anthony crawled on the ground to pick up his broken glasses as Chuck tripped him & laughed. Then Anthony got up, picked up his glasses & stood up. When he stood, he saw someone holding a new pair of glasses for him. He was happy when he saw the new pair of glasses, even when he saw the person who was holding them. It was his teacher, Mrs. Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was a very nice teacher. The nicest teacher in the school.

Mrs. Robinson then gave Chuck a mad look & said "Chuck! You leave little Anthony alone. It’s his first day. You need to be nicer to him. You hear me?!" Chuck said "Yes Ma’am," as he walked away looking sad but not meaning it. Mrs. Robinson helped Anthony to his classroom as she introduced him to the class.

The little 9 year old 4th grader classmates waved at Anthony with grins & greeted him. Anthony’s classmates would help him when he needed it, but no one would hang out with him at Recess or lunch time or at home. So Anthony turned out to be a loner. Even Chuck tried to seek his revenge on Anthony as he hanged out with his gang. He watched Anthony walking around the school by himself as he said "Look at that nerdy loser. I was going to beat him up but Mrs. Robinson stopped me. One of these days I’ll beat him up when he’s alone."

Chapter 7: The noise from the floor

The next day, Anthony woke up in his bed with his glasses off as he heard a noise. He picked up his glasses & put them on as he looked out the window. Anthony said "What the heck?" as he snuck out of bed & exited his room. He walked in the dark hallway as he exited it to enter the kitchen. He walked through the kitchen to enter the den.

He walked through the den as he opened the door to the backyard. He walked between the door & the edge of the doorway as he exited the den. He snuck in the backyard in his pajamas as he walked to the lawn & stopped. A quick look at the ghost of Mal went through Anthony’s head as he saw her. She disappeared as Anthony’s dad grabbed him by the neck.

Anthony’s dad laughed as he picked up his scared son & held him in his arms. He put him down & smiled. Anthony’s dad asked "When did you get up?" as he looked at his watch & said "It’s 6 in the morning." Anthony said "Oh.
