Hearing a noise across the way to his left, he looked over. The image was too far away to see, but he could see a warm, golden-blue light emanating from whatever it was.

A third star shot across the sky.

Frankie smiled with sense of relief and happiness as the image became more clear as it came closer. It was a person. The person that had been missing.

Her slender body wore a blue dress that eventually only let off a dim, blue light. As she walked, her footsteps in the sand glowed with a soft white brilliance that only the steps and wings of an angel could encompass. She sat down next to Frankie.

"You're late," she said, her voice travelling the air gently.

"I know," Frankie said with a small smile on his lips. "I don't know why it took me so long to get here."

She laughed a small bit, and looked up into the sky. Her lips formed a small smile of her own. "It's beautiful here. Far more beautiful than I imagined..." Frankie nodded in silent agreement. He joined her gaze at the sky. The first star he looked at twinkled just as he set his eyes upon it.

"You know...you're late yourself," He looked at her, trying to read her thoughts by her body.

"I know. We both are." She looked out into the vast ocean. "So are we really late, then?" Frankie's eyes met hers as she looked at him. Time stopped for a little bit to let them see into each other's souls. Time knew just how important that was. After an eternity, it began again.

"I guess not. We're both right on time." He grabbed her hand and slid his fingers between hers. He could feel the warmth from her spirit mixing with his. The warmth from her physical body was an entirely different feeling. They both stood up. Frankie stepped out a bit in front of her.

"What is it? What's wrong?" she asked him with a voice that was a bit concerned.

"Absolutely nothing." He looked at her, then turned his gaze to the horizon. "This is it, Jessica. This is the perfect place. The cosmic beach...the one place where all feelings are possible." He turned to her again, grabbing both of her hands. "Happiness, love, sadness, excitement, nostalgia, all of it. The one place that's conducive to all of it...the one place where it all exists at the same exact time. We're here..." He brought her hands to his chest. "We're complete, and it's not a burden." She turned her head in wonder for a second, even though she understood him completely. "Jess...." He caught her attention. "...I love you. I love you more than anything, and it's lead us here. To the one place where we have the chance to be complete." He kissed her hand. She smiled at him, wrapped her arms around his waist, and pulled him closer to her. The glow she had before returned, and Frankie could feel it going through his body as it emanated off of hers . His own body started to glow with the same aura. He pulled her close, kissed her softly, and hugged her. Their glows mixed with each others, his filling the gaps where hers did not shine, hers filling the gaps where his did not shine.

Their glow, which was now a single, complete glow, shone on every part of the cosmic beach.
