Dawn's Light (2 ratings) by Cebryon
You can't look past what you see
Never to know the one underneath
Ever a thought or given a chance
Not one soul wants a second glance
So deeper does the abyss cover
All caused by the insults of another
Too blind are you to see those tears
Like dripping blood from awful fears
They glow brilliantly during the night
But disappear with morning's light
Dress as expected, behavior anew
The ghost walks down the path with few
Others whose bodies chain them to their pain
Silenced in darkness because their savior never came
Whether it starts as happy or of sorrow
If seems for this one there will be no tomorrow
Again dawn's light shines on thee
But only a body, for the soul was set free.
