Massacre on the Plains of Aragon - A Journal (8 ratings) by E. L. Chase
Page 2 of 2 If anyone survives this wind of wickedness, this army of hell, I hope
that this memoir will make it back to those who can learn from it. Our
only hope now is to mass all the countries of Greater Lantille and fight as one
against this foul brigade of blackness. Once they cut through our army,
they will pillage and destroy the towns of Gartewilde, Pilnshire, Wolden, and
Faust. Then they will take the low road through the Myrian Pass and march
into the Kingdom of Thane. If they are not stopped before they enter the
Temple of Half-light at Attenfylde, there will be no stopping them. The
world will be engulfed in blackness. I will not be spared, but I pray
that others can. The army is getting closer now. I can feel the
ground shaking before me. It is hard to write through the clouds of dust
that are kicking up. It will not be long
now. I have seen the first elements of our scouting army cut down before
me. Limbs and heads are flying freely. I can smell the stench of
foulness. I hear the screams of torture and pain. There is no
escape now. The army is bearing down on me. There is no
escape. I am finished. I am dead.
