Sister Dear (25 ratings) by Megan E. Corkern
Saying goodbye is something i never thought i could
admitting you are gone and i am alone is something i never would!
I pray every night and day that you will come back to me
come back and bring back those smiles i always loved being able to see.
Don't turn and go just yet...I'm not yet done.
Wait that's not fair why were you the one!
The one he had to take?
You made only one little mistake!
I forgive you for drinking that night...because i feel grief you could never witness that morning light.
You were young and happy to be fifteen and be free
but that truck that took your life we did not see.
It took your life and took my heart
you always promised we would never part...sister by love sisters by trust.
He made a mistake of his on being trying to split us!
But he didn't make a mistake. For i now for our friendship's sake...we will meet again...I'm not really sure when...but you just wait my sister dear...now i have to go and wipe away this tear.
