Yesterday (4 ratings)
         by Megan Corkern

Get tired of the same old sang every single day
waiting for a new Symphony I pray
planting the seeds through make my life into a vine
that's fruit will only sweeten with time
and while I sit and wait for my heart to start with in
waiting for my life to begin
the blows through my hair and passes me by
and I feel all the time lost in heaven's eye
Dreaming only of yesterday, feeling like a child in so many ways
the way your mother smiled on the warm sunny days
oh how you loved her smile....oh mom can't you stay while?
And the way your father made you laugh
all those wise words he wanted you to have
now your alone in the big world
scared again feeling like a little girl!
memories of yesterday make you cry
only wishing you could take back time
but wake up dear it was but a dream
but you missed the point you should have seen
we will die one day, and you may be alone
but never forget we won't be gone long
but never forget- your happiness
take care my love good night my dear
Thank God for this day...and I'll thank him that I have you here.
