Why are we afraid of the dark??

Is it too plain to see
that it doesn't only contain fear,
but our futures as well.

The clouds of darkness slowly reveal
the ways of our life
from what we show others.

Life is what we make it.
Our efforts are the flashlights
that give us the will
to change all that we'd see.

To live on with life is
to make a new world.
And while we're at it
the darkness will crack.
