Fractured Time (Book Synopsis) by Michael D'Ambrosio
Page 1 of 1 Billy Brock and Penny Nichols were two ordinary people bored with their
lives and frustrated with their previous relationships. They are assigned to
work together for the first time on a business presentation in another city.
Neither one realizes how their lives are about to change.
The world is experiencing an abnormal number of earthquakes and Bob Smith is
trying to find out why. The search for why physical changes in the Earth's
characteristics have occurred has become an obsession.
Their plane lands at an earthquake ravaged airport and is battered as it
taxis to a stop. When things finally settle down, they emerge from the plane to
find the terminal is destroyed and they are surrounded by jungles and
mountains. In the distance are the ruins of the city of Philadelphia. This
appears to be all that's left of their civilization. But what happened? Are
they in another dimension? Another world? Is their world destroyed? Will they
ever find out?
Fractured Time, the first book in the Fractured Time Trilogy is
about their will to survive and the friendships that develop among them. The
story ends with a victory over an unusual adversary that mysteriously
disappears. They revel as they celebrate their victory, but this adversary is
just a dangerous pawn in a much more perilous line of foes.
Billy and Penny's complicated relationship provides the fuel for
entertainment as they try to find themselves. Ronnie (Veronica) and Randy each
have a chip on their shoulders when it comes to men. Billy somehow endears
himself to them and they become good friends. The girls provide the glue that
holds the group together in the early going as they learn to become the hunter
instead of the hunted.
Fractured time is fast paced action with adventures, horror,
romance, and humor. It lays the foundation for Twisted Fate, the
second book. You'll feel the emotion of ups and downs between the characters as
you feel good for some and bad for other.
