Seeking Shells And Seaweed
         by David

There is an outer point called "Destiny Way"
That lines the outer harbor on Chesepeake Bay
But I've never been.

"Trust me," said Truth, but I knew better
And a little yellow bird that sits on a thether
Sayin' "I do's as I sees and I sees it fit,"
And with it a sneer curled up 'round its lip

Drawing breathe from those who had lost theirs
And with it had found a whole new buncha' cares
For no ones day was as mine was
And no ones day do as mine does.
