"That’s great! I’m happy for you! Glad you found another job that can suit you. Well, in 2 years, I’m going to be out of college."

"Good, good. And become a paleontologist still, right?"

"Yes, even after the experiment I still want to be one… now more than anything. And I’m sure I’ll become a very well-known paleontologist for a very good reason."

"And what reason is that?"

"Well…" Steven was saying. He then looked at the kitchen table ahead of him.

"I brought back home some souvenirs from the trip."

On top of the table, were all the 4 samples that Steven had picked up from all 4 of the different time periods! The algae and bacteria from the Precambrian, the jawed fish tooth from the Devonian, the leaves from the Jurassic, and the Wooly Mammoth fur from the Ice Age.

Then in Steven’s mind, he relived the entire mystery, adventure, and excitement, that he had experienced before…

6 YEARS LATER

Somewhere still… in the northern mountain range of Utah… lies a remembrance from the idea, the dream, the reality, and the events that happened 6 years ago. Because, still perched up, on top of the highest mountain… is the giant dome, weathered and abandoned just like the German time-machine… still levitating… still waiting for someone to enter again… but no one ever will…
