"Bree, do you trust me?"
"Of course I do Matt, why do you ask?"
"You know that I would...nev.."
"I know what you're saying, and the answer is yes." she interrupted.

He helped her down on the blanket, and then he took her blind fold off. He watched, as a huge smile crept upon her beautiful face. He couldn't help thinking, "No matter how many times I look at her, I never get tired of just staring at her. I could just breath her in, and I live for that smile of hers." BreAnnon looked up, her eyes full of tears, and he knew exactly what she was saying. They sat in silence for the first time in a year, just breathing each other in. BreAnnon studied Matt's sun-tanned face, and she was so deep in concentration that when she felt his hand lightly brush her cheek, it was like her heart melted so fast that she could feel the blood flowing in her body andit made her all tingly, and she just stared at him. Matt moved in closer...closer...he could feel her breath on his lips. But stopped for a moment as she whispered,
"Thanks for showing me what it's like to feel special."

And Matt said

"Anything just to see you smile."

BreAnnon was one of those girls who had always promised herself not to have sex before she got married, but BreAnnon knew that Matt was her one and only. So that night, she knew she was ready and Matt took her virginity.
Months went by, and it had felt just like the previous year. They were so happy together. They were always with each other. Pretty soon Matt's senior year would be ending, and he knew Bree was scared about him leaving her behind, he could look into her eyes and see the fright. It hurt him to know that she was so afraid of losing him, after all, didn't she know that they were meant to be together, and that they could beat anything? They were Matt and Bree! As the school year came to an end, nominations for the "cutest couple" and all those things for Prom were voted. BreAnnon and Matt won for "Most likely to be together" and "Cutest couple."
Prom came, and then Graduation and soon summer had already come and gone. Bree was scared all over again. It was like her first day of High School, except this time, she knew she wouldn't see Matt standing in the same spot where she first met him. As she walked into school, she stopped, and looked around. She looked to that same old spot...nope, nothing there, as expected. She walked past just like she had two years before, but as she kept walking, she felt as though someone was watching her or like she was being studied, as she turned on one foot, there he was. Her eyes got huge and filled with tears, and his arms flew open and she ran into them. Home sweet home, she thought. That helped her get through her first few weeks of High School without Matt. Every now and then she would find flowers or a simple, "I love you" in her locker. NO matter what, she always walked by "Their spot" thinking that maybe, just maybe, she would see Matt standing there, talking to his friends, with his heart-melting smile and those beautiful blue-green eyes.
About 3 weeks after that, Bree walked into school, and there he was. Standing there waiting for her, it was like he knew she would be standing there...looking for him. Bree's Junior year came to an end, and finally summer came. Bree and Matt had the perfect reunion...Blind-Fold, beach ,blanket, roses...Except something a little different happened. When Matt took her blind-fold off, he was on one knee, holding a rose. Inside the rose petal, was a beautiful ring. Matt could finally breathe, he had been so nervous, and as he lifted his eyes to her beautiful face...she looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears, and she whispered,
"Thanks for showing me what it's like to feel special."
