Blessed Be This Were To None by Alfonso Diaz Ii
Blessed be this were to none
I glower towards the darkening sky
As Aztecs scorn the dying sun
And spill life's blood without one cry
Blessed be this were to none
This arrow searching for a God
But sacrilege would be undone
As angels lay pierced with rod
What happened to the glory yore?
When fairness stretched unto one's soul
How not one tide went on ignored
Dark nature how we sought control
Today's a mass that has gone numb
As young and old die off unsung
And I march along to this common drum
Alas, blessed be this were to none.
