Should he even bring clothes? He decided a cloak for the cold days and the winter might be helpful, even necessary. He did not, however, think about his past life at all. It was behind him. Over with and gone. Who he used to be made no difference to him. He had given up the Oligarchy.

A voice from behind called out his name.

"Hey, George!"

George turned around to put a face to and greet the voice. The last thing he saw was an angry dark face and then the dull wood of the baseball bat.
