I love cherries!"

"Oh, nice to meet you Cherrie," Sybil said, "My name is Sybil, but you could call me Sybie."

"Okie, Sybie!" Cherrie said and begged for more chocolate.

After they had eaten two more chocolate bars together Sybil asked, "Can we see some of your forest friends?"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." Cherrie jumped up and said, "I can’t believe you’ve never seen any, they’re everywhere!"

Sybil followed Cherrie off the path they were on and to a patch of mushrooms.

"Fayette!" Cherrie smiled and a small Pixie that had been sitting on a mushroom flew over on colorful wings.

Sybil gawked then noticed it and closed her mouth, "Hi."

"Fayette, this is my friend Sybil," Cherrie said cheerfully, "She’s never seen a pixie before.

"Hello." Fayette said in her small high pitched voice, "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." Sybil managed.

The little brown haired pixie smiled innocently and curtsied in midair clumsily than pushed her acorn hat back up on her head.

"Yeah, she looks innocent, but you better watch out, pixies are pranksters!" Cherrie whispered. Then to Fayette she said, "Where’s Valonia?"

"She’s here some where. VALONIA!" She had an amazing voice for such a little person, or pixie.

"Okay, okay, you don’t have to yell!" Valonia appeared from under a mushroom. She seemed to glow and her wings were almost entirely clear.

"Valonia, Sybil here has never met a sylph before." Cherrie said.

"Well, hello then," Valonia said and flew closer, "Oh, you have a wolf I see."

"Valonia is scared of everything." Fayette said.

"I am not!"

"Jolie won’t eat you, not unless I tell her too." Sybil said.

"Then you’d better be nice!" Cherrie said to Fayette and Valonia.

"How ‘bout undines and dryads?" Sybil asked.

"Oh, you can only find undines in the water and the dryads can be found easiest at night when the moon is full in the hollows of trees." Cherrie explained, "Some of the younger dryads like to come out anytime though. There’s one named Phenice, she’s nice. Well maybe you can meet Wynn the gwyllion, he’s really nice, but he might stare strangely. Gwyllions tend to stare at strangers a lot."

"Oh, that’s alright-," Sybil was about to explain that she didn’t really have to see him right away but Cherrie cut her off.

"No, no I think I see him right now," she said and pointed to a path where a little man with wings was sitting and staring off, "Wynn! Wynn!"

The little gwyllion lazily got up and floated over to them.

And they went through the same introduction except this time he only stared, and stared, and stared some more, and then said ‘hello’.

Sybil felt like she was in some sort of dream being surrounded by all sorts of faeries. Wynn was the tallest, he was two feet tall, and the rest were verging on it. Valonia surprised Sybil. She thought that a sylph would be easily spotted since they glowed so brightly, but still she had never seen one and everyone thought they were myths.

Sybil and Cherrie both were tall compared to the faeries. Cherrie was taller than Sybil even, but only by a little bit.

"Why don’t you stay with us tonight?" Said Cherrie.

"Well, I really should-," Sybil stopped when she saw that most of the day had already been spent and she wouldn’t mind getting to know more about faeries, "Okay."

Sybie, don’t tempt me! Jolie reminded her.

You wouldn’t! Sybil warned her.
