Our Asylum (1 rating) by Elizabeth
Our Asylum
So far yet so near
His breathing I can always hear
In the swaying of the trees
In the humming of the bees
In the lapping waves of seas
In the winds soft breeze
It will never cease
His eyes are ever gazing
Yet suspicions never raising
Piercing flesh and earth
Serving as a girth
Rejoicing in our mirth
Blessing every birth
Giving more than we are worth
How can we repay Him?
He who is our asylum?
