Eania - part 1 by Eolill
Page 2 of 2 When the help came, Tehilon was gone. Eania lay crying on the dusty dry
ground, bleeding from her nose and from her head. Her face was swollen and she
had a black eye, but when the healer took a look at her he said she would be
alright in a few days.
Tehilon did not come back to the village. His father had died when he was
young, just as Eania’s had, and his mother was a fine woman and she couldn’t
believe her son had actually beaten up Eania so bad, and she felt ashamed over
him. She treated Eania like her own little daughter, and was very kind towards
her. But Eania could not forget the look in Tehilon’s eyes. She was glad that
he was gone, but something deep inside her feared what he could become. This
event, not so much for itself but for what it meant, would give her nightmares
many months to come.
