Mortigern is driving the Certhas realm to hell’s toilet! You see, Eric, Mortigern is an overbearing commandant of the High and Low League of Certhas. The High and Low Leagues are the legislative works of our realm. The Order is a powerful military organization that Mortigern also controls. The man has a sick grip on all of them, and controls their every will." Eron said, with a look of disgust on his face. "He would be no normal foe to challenge, for he is… in a sense… supernatural." He continued. That word sent chills down his spine.

"What makes him… supernatural?" Eric asked timidly.

"He is of incredible intelligence, as well as strength. I hear he has several deformities, but I have not seen any yet. I hear his right hand man is a demon. A fiend birthed from the pits of hell, one to be clothed in black, and a ghost-white face. I hope you’ll never see him. His cry is enough to drive you hysteric." Eron said, simply speaking of such things conjured beads of sweat on his face. Eric had seen that man. He was the one waiting beneath the clematis. He was probably the one who killed his true parents as well!

"What’s his name?" Eric asked.

"Velhifet." Eron said, his eyes staring at the road ahead, his hands gripped tightly on the wheel. "Well, Eric, the drive will be a while, so I’d best fill you in on everything I can. The Certhas are of different blood. We are simply… more intelligent than most. You may find yourself on a mountain atop everyone else in your top-of-the-line university, but in the Certhas realm, you are among geniuses like yourself. The Certhas began when a very bright man began to search for the true meaning of his heritage, for it was unknown to him. He unlocked the gates to the Certhas realm. Back then I don’t know what the realm was, but now they’ve bricked up the wall. To enter, you must tap on the brick directly above a brick with a hint of blue.

"You, see, Eric, when you tap that brick, it activates a switch." Eron continued. "That switch lets you pass the wall. When you pass the wall, you aren’t simply going to the other side, but being transported to the Certhas realm. Anyway, we managed to get at the technological stage we’re at today by acquiring the resources to do such things. I’m not really sure how it’s possible. I think that there are certain chemicals that are alien and dangerous on Earth, but are quite containable and stable in the Certhas Realm." Eron said. Eric nodded, but was not really getting all that Eron was telling him. "We are heading to Carson City, where you will be transported into the Realm. There we will head to the Certhas Academy, where they will spiff up your skills." Eron said,

"So, I’m to prepared? In what?" Eric asked eagerly.

"There are four classes you will take: Technology, Air Navigation and Battle, History, and Weapons, which is taught by myself. Trust me, you’ll have a great time. The Certhas Academy is not like the school you’ve been going to, for it has many different aspects. The entire training program lasts for hardly a year, and you will certainly think it… more interesting than your prior schoolings. I will train you to fight, to ready your defenses, and to use them when necessary." Eron said.

"I knew your father, Eric. We met when we were students at the Academy, like you. We became good friends, but our paths did not cross. Your father pledged himself loyal to the Resistance, while I became a member of the High Council at the Academy.
